Convert that recording to mp3, then load it into the sample bank in serato. You will need to transfer your taped recording to your computer via the aux inputs and some software. Then, tear down all the equipment and set up again inside. Make sure you do this about 10-20 times to make sure you've captured the perfect recording. Hit record on your tape deck and then blow the airhorn into the mic. Once set up, and you'll need a tape player for this, take your mic and put it in front of your speaker. Next, take all your dj equipment outside and set it up. Quote: I'm new to Serato, so this might be a stupid question, but can somebody tell me how to get the sound effects put on to Serato SL1 itself or do I have to plug in a separate unit? Please help first, go to a sports shop like Big5 or sports authority and buy yourself one of them airhorns in the can (that's what I used).
